Cynthia Gabaldon, D.C., graduated from Life University in 2003 and was the sole recepient of the clinical excellence award (the highest clinical award).
She completed the fellowship coursework in pediatrics from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in January 2009.
Dr. Gabaldon is experienced in the Webster Technique which has been shown to reduce the effects of intrauterine constraint, allowing the baby to get into the best possible position for birth. In many cases, such as breech, transverse, and OP presentation, the Webster technique has produced very positive results.
Chiropractic care during pregnancy has many well-documented benefits. Some of these include the reduction of musculoskeletal complaints such as low back pain, hip pain, pain at the pubic bone, mid back pain, rib pain, sciatic nerve pain, etc. During labor, Dr. Gabaldon has assisted in breech presentations, OP presentations, back labor, prodromal labor, "failure to progress", and others.
In the newborn, chiropractic care has been proven effective in the improvement of immune function, reduction of colic, ear infections, jaundice, digestive issues, breastfeeding issues including jaw alignment and its effect on latch.
