Most women come for optimum pregnancies, to make their pregnancies more comfortable, or to prevent unwanted misalignments. Some come to help a breech baby turn, which typically happens within 1 to 2 adjustments (using the Webster Technique), or to remove any interference and help labor get started. Regardless of the reason for your visit, we can help.
As your baby grows, there are physical stresses placed on your body. As a result, muscles tighten (to allow balance and support) and often cause the vertebra to misalign, producing some typical pregnancy symptoms. MOST of these common complaints experienced by pregnant women respond remarkably to chiropractic care. These include: swelling, back pain, sciatica, headaches, rib pain, and breathing difficulties. In addition to helping during pregnancy, we LOVE to help during birth! We are frequently called by birth professionals or by the laboring mother to help DURING labor. In that instance, instead of the patients coming to us, we go to THEM during labor! These situations, such as a posterior baby, or failure to progress respond favorably to chiropractic. Once corrected, labor progresses normally. Currently, there are no other chiropractors in this community exclusively helping this population of women. I feel blessed to serve in this unique way! |
